More About The Childcare Provider

Childcare Provider Details

After completing my Btec National Diploma in nursery nursing in 1994 I started to working as a nanny for various families in and around the Bath area caring for children of varying ages.

In 2000 I completed a advanced diploma in childcare and education course. I wanted to develop my understanding of child development and over the years since leaving college had started to develop a wealth of experience that I wanted to use to help develop my qualifications.

In 2002 I had my daughter was born and I continued nannying for the families that I was working for at that time. When my daughter was 2 .I decided that it was time that we spent more time at home and so registered as a childminder so that I was able to incorporate both being a mother and family life with my work.

In June 2006 my son was born (on father’s day –what an extra special present for his daddy).

My daughter started at St Julians School in Wellow in Sept 2006 and my son Sept 2010, therefore it is the school that I do before and after school care.I do collect from other nurseries should it fit in with other collections /drop offs I have commitments to already.

The final piece of our family puzzle is Daddy. We married in 2001 .

I have remained in close contact with most of the children and families for whom I have cared. As they have become part of our family. I hope that the children in my care have enjoyed a safe, loving and secure environment that has remained consistent. I have always treated the children in my care as I would my own.

I aim for my level of care to be what I would expect for my own children and hope that your child will benefit not only from my qualification but from the many years experience caring for children in the home as well as my experiences and emotions as a mother myself.

We have recently moved to our current house and although it has a playroom .We will be having a new one built in Sept 2016 to better suit .The playroom opens onto the garden.

I take the children out and about visiting local groups, parks ,play centers etc.
