Swainswick Explorers - Registered Holiday Scheme. Childcare is based on domestic premises, although most days are spent off site exploring the surrounding countryside. Ofsted rated 'Outstanding'.
Days start and finish at our house in Upper Swainswick, 2 miles north of Bath, run from 10am -4pm costing £40 including all food. Additional hours are available from 8am - 6pm at £6 per hour. We accept childcare vouchers and have a fund available for low income families.

'Explorer Days'
Our classic, A playful walk in the countryside to one of our many camps. with chatter, foraging, games and tales. At base camp we'll make fire and friends, swing from ropes or in hammocks, create from wood or wool and eat till we're full! Explorer Days are for children 4(reception)- 14 yrs, group sizes are from 8-12 with 2 experienced leaders and 1-2 youth volunteers. Days for 11-15 year olds run as part of our Outdoor Adventures programme.

'At Home' Days
Out adventure play garden is filled with delights, zip-wires, go-karts, a waterside, a hot bath and a workshop. There's plenty of time for free play and also adult supported specialist activities such as blacksmithing, woodwork, batik, candle making, screen printing and sewing. These days are for 4(reception)-14.

Biking days
Fly through the countryside under your own steam! Small groups of confidant bikers aged 8+, on bike paths. With picnic lunch and plenty of stops for play and exploration of the area.
