TRC Training: We hope you will join us at the TRC Trauma Recovery and ACE Recovery Training Centre: specialists based in the South West, England. We work with charities, schools and organisations that support children and young people who have faced extreme trauma, and ACEs, including refugees and victims of human trafficking. Our Training Centre in Bath aims to equip professionals in developing a better understanding of: how ACEs are linked to trauma, how this impacts children and young people, what is needed in the way of interventions, societal understanding, trauma informed organisations and policy change. We host excellent training in the recovery of complex trauma for the professionals who work with children, young people and families. We believe that by equipping more of the professionals in the child’s world with the understanding of these issues, we can help see children recover more quickly and effectively. We also aim to see professionals thrive in their role and be equipped to do it well, without them burning out. Training attendees have fed back that they feel more skilled, confident in their role, hopeful and effective in supporting these young people as a result of attending courses hosted at the TRC. www.trc-uk.org
