About Us

Base House is run by the charity SWALLOW (South Wansdyke Learning and Living Our Way) and is a training house in Midsomer Norton. Here, in a warm and welcoming environment, people with learning disabilities can stay overnight and experience for themselves what it is like to live away from home. This break from the families or carers also gives our members respite and can avoid crisis situations developing. The Base House also works closely with local schools such as Fosse Way School and Three Ways School, for further information please contact Bev or Derek on 01761 414034.
