About Us
The Out of School Alliance (OOSA) provides information and support to individuals and organisations setting up and running out of school clubs. We have drawn on our own, first-hand experience of running an out of school club to provide a range of services all aimed at making your life easier.
Getting started: Setting up a new out of school club from scratch can be very daunting especially when time is short. Which is why we have provided lots of help in the Clubs section, covering essential issues such as finding funding, registering with Ofsted and getting all your staff DBS checked.
Policies, forms, contracts, handbooks: All out of school clubs need to have these documents, but identifying what is required and then creating your own can soak up a lot of your time. So we've put together a selection of downloadable templates for you.
Training and qualifications: What qualifications do you have? What qualifications do you and your staff need? Where can you find appropriate courses? Find all the key information quickly and easily in our Training section.
Play equipment, storage, paintbrushes: Where can you source all the equipment that you need to set up your club and keep it up to date? Our Suppliers Directory will help you to track down everything you need.
Sharing ideas: Join our online community of out of school clubs to share your experiences and tips: What fees are other clubs charging? How did your Ofsted inspection go? Do you have an epidemic plan? Become a member of OOSA to join the online forum and to benefit from a wide range of other member services including discounted insurance from specialist insurers Morton Michel.
