About Us
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is the UK's leading charity specialising in child safeguarding and the prevention of cruelty to children. You can telephone, email or write for information and advice, or to report concerns about a child at risk of abuse. When the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline receives information, from any source, that can or may result in the identification/location of a child/ren at risk, a child/ren in need or a person or establishment whose behaviour is believed by the helpline to place children at risk or in need, then the helpline staff must pass on all relevant details to the appropriate statutory agencies.
