More About The Organisation
VOICES is a Bath-based domestic abuse charity founded by survivors, which provides the Freedom Programme, Recovery Toolkit and social/creative women-only groups, individual recovery support for survivors of domestic abuse (past or present), specialised DA counselling, and legal clinic. VOICES is also a platform enabling voices of victims and survivors to inform and improve service provision in response to their needs.
The MATES project is designed & led by women survivors of Domestic Abuse to give other women with similar experiences the chance to meet together and support each other. In addition, we provide an optional programme of confidence building sessions with a free crèche facility. Each week there will be an emphasis on fun & relaxation and plenty of cake! It is free to attend and travel expenses are reimbursed.
On going weekly sessions are now running in school term times.
