More About The Organisation
We make it easy for you to access the travel services we offer, by working in partnership with organisations and charities that already provide support to people who are looking to start or return to work.
Partner organisations may sign you up to the Wheels to Work scheme direct, or they’ll refer you to us. They’ll explain the options to you and answer your questions. If you can’t find a partner organisation (see list below) – contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
How we can help
If you’re struggling to get to interviews, training or work – there are a couple of ways we can help:
1.Free bus tickets
If you need help with a specific journey, such as an interview, a careers fair, work-ready training or to start a new job, then you may be able get a free bus ticket. Our partner organisations will give these out, if they think they are suitable for you.
If you’re over 16, you may be able to borrow a bike from the council. The loan is free, but a returnable deposit is required. Loans are initially available for one month, though there’s a limited number available for longer, if required.
There’s a choice of bikes – electric assist, hybrid road and fold-up – all with a full kit of pannier bags, lights, locks and a bike computer. You’ll be put in touch with a bike shop in Bath or Radstock, who run the loan bike scheme for us.
To request a bike loan – either contact a partner organisation or email us at email@example.com or call 0117 352 1105, quoting ‘Wheels to Work’.
